The belt filter (sometimes called a belt press filter, or belt filter press) is an industrial machine, used for solid/liquid separation processes, particularly the dewatering of sludge in the chemical industry, mining and water treatment.

Belt filter is a high efficiency automatic and continuously filter equipment. It adopts the fixed vacuum box, rubber belt and cloth move on the slide way of vacuum box, and it realize the continuously automatic slurry feeding, filter cake, washing, cake discharge, water recycling and filter cloth regeneration process, to meet the various application requirements. The drive device drives endless rubber belt running continuously, it forms a water sealing channel between rubber belt and vacuum box’s slide way through an endless friction belt, and avoid to break the vacuum circumstance. It’s filter media is filter cloth, the slurry be fed to the cloth evenly through a slurry hopper.

When the vacuum pump turns on, it will forms a vacuum zone on the endless rubber belt surface, filtrate goes through the filter cloth, enters into vacuum box through the holes of the groove under the vacuum suction and gravity, and solids forms into cake on the cloth surface. Then filtrate he discharged by filtrate tank. With the rubber belt running, the cake will come to the cake washing zone, drying zone and then be discharged by scraper at the end of the filter. And the cloth will be washed and come to next recycle.
